The Axway Controlled Substance Ordering System (CSOS) with course provides users with in-depth, hands-on knowledge of Axway CSOS, including installation preparation, configuration, monitoring CSOS exchange, and basic and advanced troubleshooting.

    • Beginner to intermediate users including CSOS administrators, integration developers, technical support and managers


    Prerequisites

    • Basic networking knowledge
    • Working knowledge of Windows XP or Windows 7 operating system
    • Familiarity with US Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) CSOS program (more information at http://www.deaecom.gov/)

    Day 1

    • Describe CSOS functionality and architecture
    • Illustrate the CSOS components and User Interface
    • Demonstrate high level document processing and CSOS exchange
    • Signing and sending a CSOS order
    • Receiving and verifying a CSOS order
    • Describe installation hardware and software requirements
    • Start up and configure CSOS
    • Configure outgoing SMTP server and create processing nodes
    • Create a Community profile
      • Add routing ids
      • Create a community certificate
      • Create integration and trading exchange points
    • Configure global backups and purge settings

    Day 2

    • Create a Trading partner
    • Exchange a CSOS order: Retrieve, approve, and send CSOS order
    • Verify the CSOS exchange using Message Tracker
    • •Create Custom searches
    • Share Message tracker searches
    • Manage permissions using Roles and creating Users
    • Describe collaboration settings
    • • Specialize settings for a partner
    • Describe security and certificates
    • • Demonstrate step-by-step packaging and unpackaging of messages
    • Configure message validation settings
    • Create an additional Integration delivery exchange method and implement post processing
    • Create an additional integration pickup method using FTP

    Day 3

    • Diagnose and troubleshoot common CSOS issues
    • • Configure e-mail alerting
    • • Configure logging levels
    • Prepare CSOS linking of related CSOS documents (850 PO to 855 PO Ack)
    • Describe how to deploy and configure Secure Relay
    • Describe cluster setup and environment

    Day 4

    • Review end-to-end CSOS processing
